Devoted is a fine art photography gallery. We differ conceptually from most classical photo galleries; our inventory of anonymous negative is specialized in 20th-century Italian pop photography. Our aim is to dignify the vernacular language of photography.

The language of renowned photographers and photography is dignified and celebrated; this curated selection of anonymous images wants to reevaluate the meaning of vernacular photographic culture, the dialect of photography, putting the focus on the unconscious artistic meaning of these still not celebrated shots. Devoted searches and selects through an unlimited heritage of forgotten pictures that might get lost. Our extensive research enables us to offer refined quality photographs, with a strong sense of composition and certain compelling strengths.

What is presented here is just a small sample of the collection that is available; not all photographs in our inventory are on line.
We will make every effort to respond to any inquiries concerning our archival collections. Please contact us if you are looking for specific photographs or subjects not shown here.

All photographs are for sale and printed in limited editions. We suggest appropriate sizes for images, that are priced according to the paper sheet size. Black and white photographs are available as hand made print on baryta photo paper with conservation treatment; color images are produced as chromogenic prints. All made from original negatives by most famous laboratory in Milan. Each print is authenticated.

The photographs shown here are obtained from scans of the original negatives. No editing or retouching was done on digital files. In case of print the images might be edited to guarantee the best result; please consider that the negatives are subject to wear.

None of the photographs here presented intends to offend the honor, the reputation or the dignity of the people portrayed.

Terms of Sale

The availability of a photograph is subject to prior sale. All prices are subject to change without prior notice. All prices are in Euro, excluding shipping and tax if applicable. Please contact us to confirm the prices of the photographs.
Unless other arrangements are made, payment is due prior to shipment of the photographs. Payment must be done on a EU bank.
Purchased photographs will be carefully packed, insured and shipped at the expense of the client. Foreign shipments are subject to the customs regulations of the country to which they are sent.
All photographs are guaranteed to be as described and are in excellent condition unless otherwise noted. Should you not be satisfied with your purchase, the photographs may be returned in same condition as received within 10 days of the delivery date, packed carefully in the original packing material, and insured in transit for the full value. To return a purchase, please contact us to make advance arrangements.
The purchase of any photographs does not constitute the purchase of a copyright or permission to reproduce the images in any form.
